Bringing Catterick Armed Forces and local civilian communities together, to encourage inclusion, cohesion and a healthier lifestyle for all.
get involved
We welcome anyone living within the Catterick estate to join us as a volunteer or employee. Together we can help your community thrive.
why volunteer with us?
We get that many Armed Forces spouses and partners want to feel more than just a homemaker or caregriver.
It can get lonely when you are shouldered with household and parental responsibilities, without family or friends close by. It can feel like your whole world stops.
Volunteering can give you back a sense of belonging and value, working with a friendly team who will help you find a position that’s right for you.

First of all, a huge thank you goes out to all the Community volunteers in Catterick. In 2024 we had 1533 hours of volunteering from the local community, an amazing statistic that we are hoping to smash in 2025. We are always looking for new volunteers - whether you can offer an hour a month or want to come every day, we have roles for you. For a chat with our Site Manager Amy, please get in touch.
Last year we also held more events than ever before - welcoming almost 700 people to 17 events.
Development continues in 2025, with more events, creation of a sensory garden and pollinator meadow as well as planting in the polytunnel and around the site.
We will be welcoming our bees this spring and the first wave of the Bramble Woods Bee Volunteers cannot wait. If you are interested in joining the bee50K team please email Amy.
Once again we are offering Community polytunnel planters for hire for you, your family, or your community group at £20 per year. Full training, support, and tools are all included. For more information email Amy.
SEKO Logistics support the launch of volunteer app - coming soon
e50K is excited to announce the upcoming launch of its Volunteer App, a new tool designed to enhance and professionalise the volunteer experience. With the invaluable support of SEKO Logistics, this app is set to provide a streamlined approach for managing volunteer activities and ensure better coordination at all levels.
for volunteers
The Volunteer App will equip volunteers with everything they need to manage their schedules, receive timely updates, and stay informed, creating a more seamless and professional experience. At the same time, the app will help optimise site operations, ensuring smoother running of all activities and improving support for volunteers and organisers alike.
“This app is a game-changer in how we engage with our volunteers,” said Rachael Ladd, Operations Director of e50K. “With SEKO’s support, we’re able to offer a platform that enhances the volunteer experience and ensures everything runs efficiently. We’re thrilled to see it come to life.”
